The European Pavilion: Arts and Culture shaping a more meaningful, inclusive and sustainable future

The European Pavilion: Arts and Culture shaping a more meaningful, inclusive and sustainable future

The other day, we took part in a session entitled “The European Pavilion: Arts and culture shaping a more meaningful, inclusive and (sustainable) Earth+ future” organized by MOTI Foundation as part of the PHILEA Forum in Barcelona.

For the event, the Arts and Culture Thematic Network temporarily turned the iconic Mies van der Rohe (our favorite architect) Pavilion into a pop-up European Pavilion, an exploratory space in which ideas can flow and walls disappear, hearts open.  The event started with Alexander Shevchenko presenting ReStart Ukraine, an initiative focusing on the rebuilding of Ukrainian cities with the power of imagination. Please check out Alex’s initiative here and MOTI Foundation here, they are our new favorite people hands down!!
